I am a huge fan of the Candlelight Processional and want to make it happen this year. ; As of now, the Guest Narrator for Pixelmania is the world-famous "TBA".... ; hopefully they will make an announcement sometime soon so we can investigate dining arrangements to secure seating.
I am all for this!! ; I almost think it would be a good idea to find out who might be interested and make a ressie. ; Sometimes the TBA narrators are not announced until the fall.

I would think that we would want one of the earlier show times too in order to do either a crescent lake photowalk or hit the Yehaw Bob show. ; I would hope at that point that the lunch Processional ; package is less popular than the dinner package (keeping fingers crossed). ; But it really just comes down to finishing your meal and lining up early enough for a good seat (not necessarily the front row)

So count me in the ADR when it is made...

I had a brief chat with Jim Korkis at the Dayton Disneyana meet yesterday. ; Among the subjects was his meet at Pixelmania this year, the location of which apparently hasn't been decided yet.

I'd like to suggest something in the Magic Kingdom this year. ; If Fantasyland isn't totally jammed up with people visiting the new attractions, that would be a great place to start. ; Perhaps we could start at the Carrousel where Jim could re-create his act when he played Merlin.

Alternatively, perhaps Tomorrowland would be an interesting walk with Jim.

The new Fantasyland would be a really neat tour. ; Another cool one would be a Main Street tour, although somewhat selfishly I wouldn't want that to be done this year because I would hate to miss it... on second thought, ignore the Main Street suggestion until after August 15...

Any more info on if we are going to try and make the Candlelight Processional a meet? ; I believe other than not knowing who would be there that day (listed as TBA), the Package Reservations open later this month.

Actually, package reservations opened on June 26th. ; I did a quick check of the package dining reservations page and it looks like all the restaurants are still available for the 5:00pm showing except La Hacienda de San Angel and the Garden Grill.

I am definitely interested in doing this. ; What are others thinking? ; How many are interested and what restaurants?

I've never done the processional and would be very interested in doing it if I end up attending[nb]If the railroad charter operator doesn't sell 14 more tickets by 8/15, I'll probably be at Pixelmania[/nb]. ; I think the general consensus was to do the 5:00 show so those that wanted to could still either see Yeehaw Bob or do the Crescent Lake walk. ; In that case, I vote for Le Cellier

I think that La Cellier is the best bang for the buck for those on the dining plan. ; (since it takes two table service credits)

I'd be interested - I've never officially attended one. ; I've watched it from the walkway a few times, but always turned off by those huge lines to get in. ; A meal package with guaranteed seating might be a good way to try it.

This is more of a general request than a specific meet suggestion: ; Sunset is at 5:30 pm during Pixelmania, so we want to be sure we're outside enjoying the golden and blue hours rather than dining or doing dark rides. ; Assuming, of course, that the weather is conducive to twlight photography. :)

Excellent point. ; When I'm at the parks with my family we're always eating dinner at that time, so I never get to do any shooting in the parks when the light is awesome. ; Keeping that time open would be nice. ; Maybe a blue hour meet could be arranged?

I like it. I am typically eating dinner at that time too and don't get the chance to take advantage of the lighting. I'm in for that.

Sunset and blue hour meet sounds good to me - and Epcot is certainly a great place for it. ; Might be able to do the blue hour meet the same night as the night photo tour of Epcot, with a suitable break in between for dinner/etc.? ; And possibly even combine in a late night Epcot resort lake photo tour for anyone wanting to stay up late...I often end up doing that anyway!

If the blue hour meet is held on the EPCOT day, you wouldn't be able to do the early Candlelight Processional and the dinner times for the later processionals may also interfere with the blue hour meet.

True - tough one! ; The blue hour meet could always be an 'alternate' meet on the Candlelight processional meet day, or on the MVMCP day at MK...but if we want to make the blue hour meet accessible by all, then maybe might have to move it to another day or another park?

I think that's the type of meet that everyone would learn something from, so finding another day to hold it might be better. ;
