Very well, no takers. It's outside the gift shop of Splash Mountain at WDW.

This is one of my favorite light fixtures. Any guesses where it is?

 

Looks like it could be at Animal Kingdom Lodge. ; Or in the Bug's Life under tree queue.

Pretty good guesses! I was actually waiting to feature an AKL light fixture later on, so I'm sure you'll get that one right away. I actually don't think I have any from It's Tough To Be A Bug ... though I can see why you'd think that. Wall textures are very similar and the light almost looks like a winged insect, but not quite. Different park, actually. A place that's a bit more magical ;

That's true, the wall textures are similar and the color temp is definitely similar. I'm starting to think it might be a somewhat obscure location. In a place that's outside the normally settled area ...

 

Okay, based off previous clues, we at least have it narrowed down to the Magic Kingdom... Correct?

So off the beaten path and not normally settled. ; Next logical choice... Injun Joe's Cave on Tom Sawyer Island.

Haha you really wanna know where this is, don't you? You're right in it being in MK and TS island is pretty close, but if I remember the cave correctly, I don't think it was bright enough for any solid fixtures. Ready for the answer? ; ;D

 

How about along the wall in the Splash queue?

 

I think Tims right....its in that hall/walkway that cuts through towards Pirates.....

Haha Tim, just hiding in the shadows, waiting to strike with the answer. Yes indeed, that is the right place. It's a fixture right outside the bathrooms for Pecos Bill to be specific. Great job!

I have a different one from this venue, but it was too easy. Here's the challenge!

 

I see one Tower of Terror and raise you a place that's not as scary ; ;D

 

Could it be another park- Epcot-- perhaps a country-Akershus??
