POTD - random

This coming weekend I plan to spend most of my spare time at Gen Con, a huge gaming convention in downtown Indianapolis. How big is it? It takes over the entire Indianapolis Convention Center as well as three surrounding hotels and much of our old Union Station. Fortunately for a non-gamer like me, there's lots of other stuff to do and see, such as this stylish camel in a British sports car that I spotted last year while on my way to an event in Union Station.

Why walk a mile?

Thanks, Dennis. Look, John, a WWII bomber!

The B-25J “Panchito,” named after the feisty rooster from Disney’s animated musical The Three Caballeros, was a bomber with the 396th Bomb Squadron, 41st Bomb Group, 7th Air Force, stationed in the Central Pacific

He is a beautiful aircraft.

The Rochester show did not have a lot of aircraft. They did have a good variety including this Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-17F fighter jet. Hello, Comrade!

And the only privately owned F/A 2 Sea Harrier jump jet.

Nice shots all! You're really getting me excited for the Cleveland show. Blue Angels now then the Thunderbirds at a show in October.

Scott, you may want to check your white balance on those last shots.
