Myself and Karen are thinking about doing a couple of reviews on places to eat. I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations on a couple places to eat in each park?? That way i can make sure we hit up a few of them on our research trip down. ;

Yes we probably will include DTD. ; We already ate at the House of Blues. ; It will be hard to come up with places since I am a very picky eater. ;

Here's some of my off site recommendations.

Chevy's. @ Crossroads. http://www.chevys.com

LBV Ale House http://www.alehouseinc.com/

Bahama Breeze http://direct.where2getit.com/cwc/apps/ ... e=moreinfo

Chick-fil-a. Although the location near Disney on 535 it was being refurbished when we were there in October, 2007. http://www.chick-fil-a.com/cfa.asp?temp ... rdId=00660

Sweet Tomatoes. http://www.sweettomatoes.com/locations/ ... =Orlando_1

My suggestions would be:

California Grill ; ( my favourite )
Brown Derby ; (awesome)
Coral Reef ; (very cool place to eat)
Chefs de France ; ( oh yeah!)
Wolfgang Pucks ; (even the express for counter service!)
Le Cellier

You may have problems getting ADR's for these though, but I would try, perhaps you will luck out!

Why not have a look at some of the menu's ahead of time before you choose, that way if you are a picky eater you will be able to pick what you like. ; Try here:

Epcot:
Coral Reef...my fave!
Le Bistro (was more about presentation of food than anything I found...)

Magic Kingdom:
Tony's (great for lunch)
Crystal Palace (character breakfast)

MGM:
SCI-FI Dine in (think 50's diner playing sci-fi movies on a drive in screen)

Animal Kingdom:
Rainforest Cafe

DTD:
Planet Hollywood

Polynesian:
Luau

Contemporary:
California Grill

Grand Floridian
Narcoosies

Those are the restaurants we ate at when we were there....

OK, I'll bite (pun intended) - here's a suggested list for those with kiddies (and without) and the places I mostly book ADRs for clients.

1. Magic Kingdom (and surrounding areas)
a. Hoop Dee Doo - oh yeah
b. Chef Mickey's
c. Cinderella's Royal Feast at the Castle
d. 1900 Park Fare - either Supercalifragilistic breakfast or Cinderella's Royal Table supper
e. Crystal Palace
f. ; Liberty Tree Tavern

2. Epcot
a. Coral Reef
b. Garden Grill
c. Chef de France in France
d. Rose and Crown in UK
e. Le Cellier in Canada
f. ; Restaurant Akershus for Princess Storybook breakfast or lunch at Norway

3. MGM
a. Hollywood & Vine
b. Prime Time Cafe
c. Sci-Fi Cafe

4. Animal Kingdom
a. Rainforest Cafe
d. Donald's Breakfastosaurus (now changed)

I love the Rose & Crown......mmmmmmm Beer, Cider & Fish and Chips

I keep hearing Rose & Crown is good, have never tried but think I will put it on our list for our next trip! ; ; Is the batter on the fish "heavy"????

All those places sound great. ; I just hope there is good old safe-beat chicken on the menus. ; My pickiness makes it hard for us to try new places.

I'm a pretty picky eater (mostly because of food sensitivities) and I was good at all the restaurants on my list but the California Grill.....I got salmon or a caesar salad at all of them....
