Good shooting! ; Now you're on the right side of the river...just need to hunt around a little more...it's not at the Tom Sawyer boat launch.

I can even let you in on a private hint - we stood in that spot during a TMIP photo walk at a previous Mousefest. ; ;)

that would be the little cutout opposite harper's mill & the haunted mansion postcard photo spot on the wooden bridge in frontierland.
 
BINGO! ; Yep...if you are facing Harper's Mill, turn around 180 degrees and face the Frontierland Shooting Gallery and DVC outlet, near the restroom passthrough. ; Now look slightly down, and there's this little rock stream that probably passes unnoticed by thousands every day:

You'll notice it was taken in Dec 07...during a Mousefest trip!

Those are exactly the types of little details and overlooked things I love about Disney parks. ; I can't tell you how many times I've seen someone's photos of a closeup detail and realized that I haven't seen or noticed it before...despite having gone to Disney World thousands of times.
 
I've always loved this little detail. A bit of trivia about the spot:

This stream passes under a short span of wooden walkway, and is visible on both sides of the path. It marks the border of Liberty Square and Frontierland. It represents the Mississippi River, as you pass over it you are entering (or leaving, I guess) the "wild west."

You are right, thousands of people pass right by the spot and never notice it. Makes me wonder how many other awesome spaces there are at WDW that I pass by.

Indeed - thanks for the trivia on that one. ; I've always loved it myself...it's a spot I like to chill out and watch people go by. ; I'm usually down on the dockside looking up at the path...pretty much the view in my shot.

I have always enjoyed those little 'spots' in the Disney parks that are so full of detail or thought, yet often little appreciated or noticed. ; There are thousands of them, and I STILL find new ones despite countless thousands of trips to Disney World over the past 38 years.
