Scott, I went back and adjusted the white balance in the shot to the strip on the flag. ; This came out a bit better I think. ; Thoughts?

Yeah, white balance in the WL is a bear. ; 
; Good place to try and do a custom WB.
Tim could help you more on the processing part. ; I have a Cross Processing preset I use with Aperture 3 which really popped the detail and colors of the fireplace. ; This is a duplicate from earlier in this thread....

Wow, there are a lot of colors in that fireplace. ; I think I will play around with it a little more.
