NYC in Aug

Planning a trip to NYC in Aug .. Going to try and make Yankees game

Karen is looking for suggestions, not sure of the timeline but might be 7 days.
 
set aside a couple of those days and come out to eastern long island, it's really easy to get here, i can pick you up from the train station and be your tour guide, any ideas on dates yet?? The
suggestions: statue of liberty, museum of natural history, central park, staten island ferry ride, circle line boat tour of manhattan,
i am sure i will think of others
 
I am taking Karen to the Queen concert so its going to be a couple days before or after that... thinking at least a week to keep the wife happy
