Yes, at least one is real. But like Tokina, and some Sigma lenses, it may be a while before it's 'available'. Even then, it should be in the low five figures.

I thought at first that it was a joke but it's real. I couldn't imagine trying to use that thing.

I couldn't imagine what you would need something like that for. Outside of nature photography for national geographic that is.
