Got back from Disney's annual meeting...

Tomorrow Disney will be releasing a new no-blackout annual pass for both parks.....
 
I think it's going to run about $723 for unlimited access to both coasts and the water parks at WDW. ; Considering the individual costs for the 2 AP's this is a deal. ; If they throw in a DVC discount on top of that, it would be stupid for me to not get it considering my sister-in-law lives in Long Beach and goes to Disneyland several times a week and, of course, we go at least 2 weeks to WDW
 
Hmmm...thanks for posting this Roger. ; It might actually be worth looking into it for us this year. ; Ray, that would be awesome if they were offering a DVC discount. ; I hope you'll keep us posted!
 
that was about the only news to come out of the meeting. ; Other than 'No, we're not going to release Song of the South, stop asking.' ; or some guy complaining about the Disney Dining Plan.... ::)

From what I've heard, Disney acknowledges there is a problem with the DDP and trying to find a way to close some of the loopholes that the more "Experienced" guests have found and exploited (i.e. booking multiple ADRs at the same time at different dining establishments).

I hope they figure something out by the end of April. ; Fastpass needs to be fixed as well.[nb]My idea would be to limit one showpass per passcard for every 4/6 weeks until after Labor Day.[/nb]

Bob Iger even brings up problems with Fastpass later on when asked why Fastpass doesn't exist for Dumbo at Disneyland. ; "Because they would be out of them early in the day". ; I really think the end of Fastpass as it currently exists is coming. ; Soon. ; The rumors of the new Dumbo queue system are probably what the new system will be.
