I have only seen the female lion up and about on one occasion, and have never seen the male lion up and about at all. ; This is about as good as it's going to get for me...

Keep trying. ; I got one photo of him standing up in all my years of riding the safari. ; Your odds will improve with each visit. ;

I did see him stand up once, but I didn't get a picture since he was mostly hidden behind a rock

Still, that is a nice shot. ; I am hoping to get to see them moving around a little more now that my availability is more than it ever has been.

I did see him up and around once and it was during the Sunrise Safari that was, at the time, only available to Concierge-level guests at the Animal Kingdom Lodge
