I'll tell her Tim! She has a much better artisitic eye than I do. But the camera itself frustrates her and I'm not a good teacher. She gets aggravated when the camera doesnt produce what she sees. There are many times where I try to set up the camera "mechanically" for her, and then she takes the pictures.

Craig,

I think there might be a MouseFest meet in there. "Photography for the spouse"

I think I've kind of been annoying trying to help my mom with photography. Like turn off your flash the picture will be washed out. Or, don't hold you camera that way it's not stable.

Here is one from our trip in Jan

Haven't seen any others around, but what, it's only been 10 days???

Anyway, it's everything that it was supposed to be. Professional AF, digital rangefinder (from the D3, something the D300 doesn't have), good FPS, fast card write times (I never filled the buffer even though it was only 13 frames with 14 bit NEFs, and with the Ducati)....

Now hopefully Apple will update their RAW converter asap....I don't mind Bibble but the process is cumbersome compared to A2. I may have to use Bibble for the higher ISO shots however due to having a better NR built-in, that is, until Picture Code releases their plugin.
