    All great photographs, Dennis. ; Touching a wing from a moving bike. ; Not me but you caught it perfectly.

    Nice prop blur on the trainer and the P-51. ;

    I always get the 51C and the 51D backwards. ; The D has the bubble canopy right?

    Thanks, all. ; The plane/bike shot was with the 200-400. ; I'm glad there was a one-hour limit on the loaner equipment - my arm couldn't hold that monster much longer.

    Michael, you are correct, the P-51D has a bubble conopy for the classic Mustang look. ; The C model has a profile similar to a P-40.

    Haven't seen the Yak in person, but I really like it's lines. So is there a 200-400 in your future? :D

    The 200-400 is on my list of post-lottery-winning acquisitions. :)

    Interesting concept. ; And the plane in the background is the same one that was at Indy.

    Another batch:

    After the school bus got done running around, this guy came out to douse the grass fires it set off. ; Jet-powered school buses and drought conditions do not mix.

    Here's my final batch of air show photos, at least until I can figure out how to compare shots from the D800 to my D300.

    A PV-2 Harpoon which lives here in Indy. ; Note the mission markings below the cockpit. ; This shot was taken with a D800. ; Notice how much better 36 megapixels looks? ; ;)
