I think winter is here early

Yesterday we woke up to...SNOW! ; We got about 8 cm of the nice white stuff. ; Not as bad as other areas in the province though. ; Then today it is -22 with windchill. ; I didn't hesitate to get my winter jacket and boots out, but it seems like it was just nice and warm not so long ago. ; It will be a very long winter if we are starting to get it now. :-[

Oh No! ; It's too early for that kind of thing... but when you folks get dumped on, it almost always ends up working its way out here

We've been lucky where I am so far... but I drove about 100 km West yesterday and encountered snow (not a lot, but still... snow... in October... *shiver*).
