changes to 2009 DDP?

For all those Disney TAs on board ....

There's a lot of discussion elsewhere on changes to the dining plan starting in January. Perhaps introducing a Dining Plan Lite of 2 CS, snack, and refillable mug. Apparently, you can already book this on UK sites.

I know there will be formal announcements when the 2009 rates and packages are released next month. Are there any insider info available now? ;

Once again, I'm "thinking" of staying onsite next year, and I'm curious!

Would anyone find this kind of plan appealling? I think if they do introduce this, they're planning on raising the price of the regular plan through the roof!

I have seen this (mostly from the UK sites). Disney does cater to them as they appear to go in droves. Only time will tell on what will be done on this side of the pond.

I still don't think the dining plan is very much of a deal it more the convenience for me that sold me originally. A dining plan lite would be good depending on the price I always look for value.
