4/4/26 new york botanical garden orchid show

this year i renewed my membership at the nybg and yesterday i took a trip to see this years orchid show. i'll post few both of the themed set pieces and a few individual orchids, first up is the entrance

and just inside the front door, the first set piece a classic ny brownstone with an orchid overlay

and a couple of others, i am not sure that i should have gone with f2.8, this is with the sony 90mm macro, at f2.8, on 1:1, autofocus, i had some troubles getting some of the flowers sharp, i am going to try to get back for the azalea garden blooms, and definitely in early june for the rose garden, so i will be working on my technique more this year
