2025 PIXELMANIA 10/15 TO 10/19

Please reply to this thread if you plan on attending Pixelmania October 2025. If you'd like to let us know where you're staying, then that would be great too.

This would also be the place for discussions and questions.

I'll keep a master list in this first post of people that reply that they'll be attending.

1. Joanie. I'll be flying down and arriving on Tuesday October 14th and staying at Plop Century until Monday October 20th. I'll then move over to Universal's Cabana Bay resort until the 25th.

I hope to visit Epic Universe for 2 days on Tuesday the 21st and Wednesday the 22nd, fit in a Halloween Horror Night somewhere, and lounge around at Volcano Bay with a fancy tropical drink and a serious case of exhaustion.

arriving via some form of transportation on sunday 10/12/25 staying at boardwalk villas until monday 10/20/25, possibly adding a couple of do nothing but pool lounge and graze at food and wine at carribean beach resort, to be determined, this would be pre pixelmania

addendum update, arriving 10 pm orlando wednesday 10/8, hotel near the airport, my first uber experience thursday 10/9, moving to Coronado springs for 3 nights, 2nd uber experience sunday 10/12 moving to boardwalk villas until monday 10/20, 3rd uber experience boardwalk to airport. i went with Coronado because of a pass holder offer currently in effect, the $ savings will cover all the uber costs and a waterpark upgrade to my ap, so look for me at typhoon lagoon in the lazy river thursday to sunday and grazing around epcot after 6 pm

Allegiant’s schedule just opened up into November… so I’m just waiting another week or two in order to see if the flight down gets cheaper. But at least they fly on the days I’m currently booked into.

I'm cancelling my Zoom subscription and switching to Microsoft teams. I can send anyone an invitation to a meeting and if you are on a browser such as Microsoft edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari you can just click on the link I send for the meeting and, using one of those browsers, it will connect you to the meeting.

If that proves to be a disaster we can just switch back to the free 40 minute Zoom meetings and respawn again.

So there ya go. I'm thinking we will schedule a meeting after May 24th unless we want to get together sooner. Holler back if you want a sooner chat to touch base.

For those of you who may want to widen your horizons, Universal is now selling single-day tickets to Epic Universe. You no longer have to buy a minimum 3-day ticket for two days at Universal Studios and/or Islands of Adventure to go along with your one day at Epic Universe. Universal AP holders can still buy tickets for multiple days at Epic Universe.

I will keep my schedule open during those days in October. Joanie, count me in on any future online meetings. I also wouldn't mind trying to keep up with you at Epic Universe for a day.

just throwing this out there, how about toledo or boathouse for the meat before the meet, both seemed very popular with our group and good meals.

We just did Toledo in May and it was excellent as usual. Note that Bourbon Steak, formerly Shula's Steakhouse, will be opening soon. We visited Shula's in May and the servers were looking forward to the new changes. It is very likely that Gillian and I will at least visit the lounge at some point during this trip. Let me know if anyone is interested...

In regards to the PreMeet Night….

“Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” debuts at Magic Kingdom on July 20. It will perform at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. Note, however, that “Disney Starlight” will not be performed on Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party evenings. It will likely skip Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party dates, too.

While Magic Kingdom parades usually begin in Frontierland and end on Main Street, U.S.A., “Disney Starlight” will go in the opposite direction. it will follow the usual parade route from Main Street to Frontierland “to allow for better guest flow at the end of the night.”

I just looked at some old Times Guides to see when the evening parades ran in the past. They generally were at 9 and 11 pm, but in October they ran at 8 and 10 pm. So be prepared for that possibility.

As my financial statements say: "Past results do not guarantee future performance."
