    Booo!

I understand the concept of having to change things to stay fresh...but they could try working new stuff in WITH the old - maybe alternate shows throughout the day. No more Mo Rockin or Fife & Drums corps either. I'll miss Off Kilter the most though - I even enjoyed listening to them when I was at the other side of the showcase - I could hear their songs from Norway or Morocco and found myself mouthing the words!

I will miss the old and hope the new can carry on the tradition of popular and high quality entertainment.

Not only no Off Kilter, but no World Showcase Players either... So no King Arthur, no Romeo and Edna. And for what... A lumberjack show and flag wavers. Seriously Disney what is up? And then to make the announcement less than a month before the final performances, shameful (per blog reply the final performances are on September 25th).

It's bad enough that we're losing Off Kilter and Spirit of America, but the end of MoRockin' means NO MORE BELLY DANCERS! It's the WORST. THING. EVER!!!!

I'll withhold judgment on the replacement acts until I've seen them. I seriously doubt that they'll have the drawing power that the current acts have.

From what the blog says, it will be a Flag Twirling act in Italy and a Lumberjack show in Canada, with more to be announced later. To me, both of those are a "see it once and done" with no variation or crowd interaction you would see with the World Showcase Players and Off Kilter. But I guess I'll get to see what gives on my November trip.

Canada gets "a thrilling lumberjack-inspired show." That could be anything from flannel-clad musicians to guys chopping down trees. But they're lumberjacks, so they're OK. ;)

Morocco gets traditional Berber music. OK for culture, but will it be entertaining? Search Youtube for Berber music and see what you think.

I'm looking forward to the UK Celtic singers. There should be some audience sing-along opportunities, if they do it right.

Italian flag wavers? Doesn't sound appealing.

I like the Celtic music addition in the UK. They can keep the flag wavers. I'm not in high school anymore.

Its interesting that Off Kilter describes itself as a "Celtic rock band". Is it possible that Off Kilter will move to the UK pavilion and become a "Celtic folk music ensemble"???

I find the removal of the Spirit of America Fife & Drum Corps to be distinctly un-patriotic...

Who always reminded me of Abe Vigoda. Or vice versa.

To say that I am disappointed would be a huge understatement.

Wow, I'm amazed at how little their act has changed! ;)

And that may have a lot to do with the changes

I hadn't watched the whole video before I posted it. Turns out they do use chainsaws, including the hot saws we thought couldn't possibly be coming to World Showcase. How ironic for the people that were not disappointed with the Off Kilter announcement because they found their performances disruptive to their peaceful walks around World Showcase.
