The funny thing is, I remember the gallons of sweat I lost in the almost 2 hours I walked around the island!!

Then plan on going in January. ; When's its -10 and snowing back at home, it's easier to take the heat. ; :)

Thats the problem! ; I cant get time of from school then, with it being right after a vacation! ; Another reason to look forward to retirement!
 
Nice additions to the transportation thread. ; I can vividly conjure up the sweat loss pictures myself, even though i haven't been to THAT particular Bahamian island. ; I've been to many dozens of other ones, as well as throughout the Caribbean, and I know that heat. ; In fact, I get to live in it about 8 1/2 months out of the year!

As much as I wanted a Monorail shot entering the Contemporary from there, it wasn't going to happen. ; Apparently they took a hit from lightening yesterday to one of the power stations, and the entire system has been down since the afternoon!
 
No we were going to go there but they were charging $10 to get in and we weren't going to be there that long. We were out behind some of the businesses along the docks there.
