POTD- "Stuff That Ain't There Anymore" Edition

I may be in the minority, but I loved the hat! Not enough to head down there and sit in front of it to prevent it from going, but I liked it.

I loved the hat as well. Really miss seeing it there in lieu of yet another stage.

Rainforest is still there, but Captain Jack's is gone:

I didn't even know those programs existed

Not only did they have programs for kids, but adults also. Kodak gave a simple photography course for adults. These courses were before the ill-fated Disney Institute was around. All the kid programs were underground so they saw the utilidors when most, if not all, the adult programs/tours avoided them.

Here's the original Frontierland train station, next to a wide open original restaurant and pre-Slash Mountain (circa 1984):

And an example of what WASN'T there then, but IS there now...

Again, 1984 - and back then, NO Partners statue! To fit in the category of this thread though, of stuff that's not there anymore, all those lovely shade trees and benches around the circle are gone.

From the early 90s. This is a picture of Harry Holt, a former Disney animator. His desk was located in what is now the Town Square Theater. As you approached, you could choose one of six or seven duplicated drawings which he had drawn. Mr. Holt would then add some finishing touches to the pictures, and then personalize it for you. You could buy a plain black frame there if you chose to do so.

Here are some of those drawings

Last time I looked a couple of years ago, the stone was still there, but they haven’t done the Merlin show in years.
Is the sword still there? I am not sure why I think that it was removed. Or they took it away for a bit after that dude pulled it out in Disneyland.
