Upstate New York is all ready for winter. ; Barely a leaf left on a tree. This was taken in the highlands of southern Onondaga Country. ; Might do some winter sports here during the winter. ;

I really like that one Scott, the lighting is just right! ; It gives the sense that it is safe to proceed, but don't travel off the path!

Scott you captured a dark gloomy day perfectly. I love the perspective of the race. looks like a human stampede

 

I would hate to be in that spot one minute later...

 

Funny thing is that after making the comment about the stampede i kept going back to look at the photo and found two squids in the race.

 

I only found one

The two squid are next to each other. ; One purple, the other yellow (or maybe lime green).

 

There was quite a few runners wearing interesting headgear. ;
