Dolphin Fountain - Santa Barbara, California
Tail section of a Douglas DC-3 - first flown in the mid-1930s and many are still flying. This is the old logo of the now-defunct Eastern Air Line.
Marshall Point Lighthouse - at the entrance of Port Clyde (ME) harbor. This is where Forrest Gump ended his cross country run.
No. 1 -- This was the first engine on the Mt. Washington Cog Railway in New Hampshire. It was in service from 1868-1929. The boiler pivoted so it always remained vertical on the steep incline.
