Really nice work! ; Did you use a ND filter? ; 53s seems very long with f/6.3

these are really nice, and i'm surprised they are not hotter, as 53 seconds seems like a long time with just 1.6 stop nd. at illuminations pixelmania, i was having to go to 20 seconds with the vari nd dialed to max, longer started to blow out the whiter shells

1.6x is different than the stops, I think it's an 8 stop filter....

No, they are different. ; After the first one I switched over to bulb, something I haven't done since the film era. ; The EXIF is attached for each one.

that's correct, i didn't get the X factor, thought it was 1.6 stops, i may get a couple of different fixed stop nd's for pixelmania this year, want to try some different things, esp since i just booked a return for 4 days in dec so i can get my dose of mcvmcp.

These are awesome! ; I really need to get some of these filters. ; I'll be adding them to my B&H list ASAP, and don't worry Tim, I clicked the link. ;)

Missed these myself...very nice. ; Love how those ND filters work - I didn't really have the chance this last trip as I never even bothered to bring the tripod to the parks - just too hot and sticky. ; Maybe come December when it cools down and I hit the Christmas trip again.
