I was thinking about buying a Mac for Karen to play with, if anything because i love the commercials. Mac vs PC

I hate to admit it but i am a PC guy, and i don't think i could change. I like having the ability to rip apart my system and change anything i see fit.

We picked up a Mac Book laptop on boxing day from the Apple store in Sherway Gardens.
On nOvember 1st new Mac Books were released with a 2.2mhz processor. The ones one sale were the models prior to Nov 1 with a 2.1 ghz processor, 1MG of ram and 120 Gig ; HD.
$550 off from the Apple store with a $130 rebate off a Canon printer.

The discounts brought the price down from $1580 to $900 with a printer plus taxes

I originally went our looking for a cheap PC laptop but they we're all gone.

Still more than a PC laptop but the kids use Macs @ school and they really like some of the painting and design software that are on the Macs.

I'm not one of these Mac disciples ; who hates PC's. I love my tower with XP.
A lot of my friends have Mac's so I have all the tech support & software I need.

There is a learning curve navigating around the Mac OS.

Apple even has a link for PC folks who need a little help. Apple-Switch 101
