Welcome back to Disney Magic marlene1982, why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself?
 
Hi!!! Thanks!

Well, I'm a Disney newbie. I have never been! I've planned a surprise trip for my husband's 25th Birthday over Thanksgiving weekend this year. He's finding out at his surprise party this Saturday and I can't wait!!

I placed our tickets and reservation documents, Disney luggage tags, a Disney Birthday Button and a big Mickey doll in a box... we'll see how long it takes him to figure it out.

So we leave Oct 5th and return Oct. 9th. We only have three full days in the park, so it's going to be CRAZY! No time to breathe! lol!

I'm 24 next month, hubby is turning 25 as I mentioned. We got married last September 10/05. We live in Aurora, Ontario but we recently bought a house in Newmarket (10 mins north) and we move in December 2007!

This Community looks like a great resource! Thanks for the invite! ; ;D
 
You're going to have a blast, Marlene! ; You'll get hooked, I'm sure, there's just so much to see and do at the 4 parks & Downtown ; ;D

Watch out Marlene, once you two are down there, you will certainly want to go back for some more. ; Are you going to Disney World or Disneyland for your first trip? ; Your husband and you will totally have a blast. ; He is one lucky husband to have you plan a surprise like that. ; Our friend just went to Disney World and Sean and I already want to go back for some more. ; We didn't get enough on our honeymoon and the other few trips that we have made. ; So any way we can help you out here or want to know more info, don't hesitate, post or PM ;D

Yes, pretty obvious that it is me. ; Disney World!!!! ; That is so awesome. ; You will love it! ; The first time I went we didn't plan a thing and ended up having the best time. ; The only thing I knew getting there was the hotel we were staying at. ; Then we just played everything else by ear. ; But where you are only going for 4 days, I am sure everyone here can help you hit the highlights and not miss a thing. ; We have a friend there already for 4 days and I did post on this thread about it and got a few ideas, but there are still a ton more.

It was funny a couple of days before he went, he was quizing us both up about what to do. ; I think that everyone else that was around us thought we were nuts.

I see that you are back from your 1st trip to WDW. ; We would love to hear what a great time you had, what the weather was like and just what you and your DH thought. ;
