Is from June 22 thru July 3... staying in 2BR at old key west with another tmip'er... can't get here soon enough.
anyone else gonna be around wdw that time of year?

Sorry to say I'll miss you by a week. We come back to Columbus on the 16th.

I better get to sleep. I get up to leave for the airport in 5.5hrs. DL here I come!

I don't know. I assume my aunt and uncle will come see us this summer and we usually go to Disney for a couple days. I don't know exactly when.
 
I'm there: 6/25 through 7/9. Staying with a traveling circus of 15 at a 6 bedroom rental in Formosa Gardens. We'll definately have to meet up. You can generally find me in any air-conditioned establishment that serves ice cold beer.

Well that should narrow down the field of search. That means we can rule out the Magic Kingdom. Very few choices at Disney's Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. So one could focus their attention to EPCOT

I may be up there, but won't know until I get a little closer. My mother likes to go up sometime in the summer, and her husband doesn't go anymore (his knees are bad so he can't walk around, but has too much pride to rent the carts)...so usually we go up at least once per year around that time. I won't know the exact dates, but it usually falls in June/July...so I'll let you know when I know!

I'm with JC - it's darned hot up there in the summer, so I spend much of my time running from AC to AC...and lots of refreshment stations (I don't do the beer thing...so anything that serves cold sodas, juices, iced teas, etc is where I'll be!). Definately not running around when up there for summer - it's slow and easy, hunting for shade and AC, and kicking back!

We are trying to go June 27 or 28 for the weekend. I agree, I hope we can all meet up!

JC, I agree about the cold beer,
one of my favorite beers, though, is the semi cold overpriced beer served in a plastic cup, that I get at the pool. For some reason, that tastes soooo good! ::)

In order of enjoyment, my favorite Disney "beer stops" (or wine stops, depending on the time of day) are:

Epcot - Rose & Crown Pub

DHS - Prime Time Diner Bar (a great little hideaway)

Polynesian Resort - Poolside Tiki Bar (If the family plans a full day in the Magic Kingdom, my dad and I "escape" for 1.5 hours and hang out here - terrific pina coladas)

Boardwalk/Beach Club - Martha's Vineyard Lounge (great wine flight and within walking distance from International Gateway)

Downtown Disney - House of Blues outdoor beer patio

Epcot - German Bier Hall

Epcot - the beer stand in Norway (* it's not AC, but those Norwegian girls are beautiful)

Epcot - French Bakery (Beet and Chocolate Croissants - the breakfast of champions)


I'm looking forward to adding Raglan Rose and the Sosa's Cigar Shop Lounge to the list this year, but haven't yet made it to either stop.

Anyone whose visiting the parks the same week as me, let me know ! I'd love to meet up with some of the regulars on the boards. Drinks on me (and, Zackiedawg, that certainly would include a juice or two)

6/19 - 6/22 - all star music
6/22 - 7/2 - old key west.
