I love the theming on this ride. Can't wait to check it out. My 8 year old is going crazy waiting to ride Expedition.

    Only 3 months 22 days ... but who's counting.

Cool find! I really like the Hindi feel to it.

that symbol is so rich in symbolism its beyond description. one of the managers of EE, holly, gave a friend of mine and i a personal tour of the queue and explained all of the symbolism and detail that went into the design of the attraction. it was like an episode of the history channel right in front of us. did you notice that yeti is holding the mountain in his right hand? also, did you know that everest is the SMALLEST of the peaks on that mountain range?

Personally I believe Everest has the best line theming on property (sorry TOT fans).

    I wouldn't know, unfortunately I just don't like roller coasters, so I won't ever see it. :(

Jeff, I'm not a monster coaster person either. But Disney's coasters like the Matterhorn, BTMRR, and even Everest are tame compared to Screamin and RnRCoaster. I'd give it a whirl!

I do BTMRR. There is something about the feeling of my toes in my throat that I am not really thrilled about. I get the same feeling on Pirates even, but I LOVE the rest of the ride so I deal with that one.

Roger, that is a nice photo.

ok, finish telling us! I didnt pay attention to that part of the show on the Travel Channel. The guy with the weird big earrings distracted me too much.

It never ceases to amuse me to see how the people making those Travel Channel shows try to seat him so that the big earring and the distended earlobe are hidden. I can just picture the director cringing every time he turns his head and shows off that thing.

I have no objection to it myself, although I have to admit that in person it'd probably take some effort not to stare.
