I'm not set up for Sports photography but sometimes I get lucky. 
I attended the Syracuse University Orange Women's Basketball game last weekend at the Carrier Dome. Being it's a women's game, the seating is general admission so I was at court level and close. For men's games, I'm usually in the upper deck!
I took this with my D70/18-200VR lens just before the Marquette player put the ball in play so Nicole Michael (the SU player) was pretty still. Looks like she is keeping a close eye on her.
