Sigma announces 18-35/1.8 zoom lens

It's not a joke. ; And it's for APS-C sensors - they are (right now) only planning it for Sigma, Canon EF and Nikon G mounts.

I saw the rumors of this last night and EVERYONE thought it was a poor photoshop attempt/joke, mainly because it wasn't big enough.

Neat idea for APS-C. ; I could see this being the preferred dark ride lens for APS-C users - F1.8 constant with a flexible range of 27mm to 52.5mm on APS-C.


I'd like to see them make it available in Sony Alpha mount though...I'd consider such a beast.

Nice, but I'm only buying full-frame lenses now. ; How about a 24-70 1.8?
