Nice Dennis- Thanks for sharing.

Roger- I *mostly* got this for my daughter to go with her D40 / 18-200vr Kit as I think that will make it an awesome light weight do-it-all kit that I may even borrow sometimes. ; But you never know- I may throw it on the D200 some time too. ;

I have seen people shooting with them on FX as well- and the vignetting is not as bad as you might think. ; They *say* it's really only objectionable when shot wide open and at distant focus.

Well mine came today. ;

Seems very nice- auto focus is really quick on the D40.

In my most unscientific testing (arms length focus shot with one hand sitting in a chair with wheels) it looks pretty good compared to the Sigma which has fantastic bokeh in my opinion.
