So I went over to B&H through the link of course, and all though it wasn't a lot, even the pennies help. ; I ordered my cable release, which although the site says it is in stock, the e-mail I got says it is backordered. ; Oh well, here is the one that I got.

Is that made to mount on a flash bracket?

I thought so, but it says that it has the 2.5 mm jack which my camera has, so I shall see what happens when I get it.
