Never noticed the electric grass. Nice pic! Did you crop it or what kind of lens did you use? Here's one from my last trip of the African Lion. Used a Nikon 80-200mm Zoom @ 200 (300 35mm)
It is cropped, but I was using my 70-200 with a 1.4TC. The "grass" is all the way around the lion's rock. I never noticed it until I asked what it was. "Oh that would be the electric grass"
