The men this time. Had the pleasure of being one of 31,000+ people to watch SU beat Georgetown this past weekend.
Pre-game player portraits. From left to right: Johnny Flynn, Arinze Onuaku, Paul Harris
As usual, our seats were close to the last row in section 306. Here's what it looked like from my seat.
I get so-so pics from that distance with my 18-200VR so, instead I took shots of my fellow Orange fans surrounding me. The girl at the end of the first row is my favorite Orange fan, my daughter, Ally.
It's been a tough Big East conference season this year so beating 8th ranked Georgetown was cause for a celebration and the fans, lead by the student section, stormed the court at the end of the game.
This is a very cropped image taken from one of the crowd shots I took. With just a 6MP sensor, it's not the best but you can see some interesting subjects. Look for the policeman, girl screaming with her arm up in the air and another girl with an orange painted face. Movement seen in these pictures is from slow shutter speeds and not the lens. The picture below was taken at 1/60s @ f/8 hence people who were jumping around got blurred.
