Goofing around with PS try to get a misty effect. ; Comments, suggestions?

Looks like a postcard with the Liberty Belle in raised relief. ; Looks neat.

looks cool....anyway to darken the sky a bit to give more focus to the mist along the water?

I think I can darken the sky. ; I also think I need to add more layers of fog to make it look more natural instead of punched out.

I would maybe try to mist the ship a little more also. ; It looks like it was laid into the photo, and wasn't really there when you shot the photo.

Interesting idea. ; I agree a little too much 'mist' was erased from around the boat. ; You should post the original jpg and see if anyone else wants to give it a try- fun project!

i'm with jeff on this, too little mist on the boat, my first thought, and if it had not had the title my overiding thought, was , oh no, the liberty belle is on fire

I tried to find a way to make the CR2 file available but haven't found a way yet. ; If anyone knows of a way to do this let me know.
