on 9/20/25 i ventured to vancouver bc, on 9/23/25 i met Michael in the vancouver airport, we flew air north to whitehorse yukon, and on tuesday drove on down to skagway alaska to start a 5 day lerro photography charter on the white pass and yukon route railroad, behind steam engine 73, occasionally towed by one of the shovel nose diesels in the iconic yellow and green scheme. this is a narrow gauge railroad, we had vintage cars, and i cannot speak highly enough of how much the railroad crew worked to give us a great time, much scenery, long days, limited food options, much rain, except the last day turned sunny, many sniffling noses, shared by all. i would do it again, and pete is talking about a spring 2027 return. so this is a teaser shot, on the drive down to skagway from whitehorse, it's about 100 miles of this[url=https://k-gphotos.smugmug.com/DEMO-STUFF-FOR-TMIP/Alaska-teasers/i-88qfFpj/A]
