Last of the Fall Color

Its taken me forever to get around to processing these, but I thought I'd share some photos from my trip to Williamsburg three weekends ago. We missed the peak color by a week, but a few trees still looked good.

Very nice. Our color was gone the first weekend in November. Now, it's a nice shade of slush as last week's snows have melted into a mix of ice, water and gunk. Florida in two weeks!!!

Roger, most of those were taken before the building open at 9:00, so there weren't many people around. The Fifes and Drums were there later in the day.

I think their schedule varies based on if they are in school or not and how many visitors there are. They only marched once a day on the weekend when we were there.
