That would be really cool if they do it right. ; Its interesting that they're putting this much into promoting a ride closure... Have they ever done something like this before?

Main Street Electrical Parade. ; It glowed out forever.[nb]I don't that means what they think it means.[/nb] ; They even sold all the light bulbs from it!

Umm. ; Other than that I can't think of an example. ; Ever since...(can't remember) Disney usually doesn't tell you when they are closing an attraction. ; Then again, what was the last time they actually closed an attraction for a true upgrade (of the same ride)? ; The upgrades are usually minor, or they are closing it to replace it. (Country Bears evicted for a W. Pooh)

Autopia at DL, maybe. ; Space Mountain doesn't count. ; Pirates' Lair?
