Gary said the animatronic lions on the Kilimanjaro Safari were under repair or refurb when he was there - I was in the parks last week a few days after Gary, and as he suspected, they got them back out in time for the Christmas rush - both the male and female were placed out on the rock. ; The walking functions weren't operational, but they had the full facial controls working at least, and had put them in a nice position to be seen:
