Following the release of the box-office smash hit "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" last October, Disney has announced plans for the fourth installment of the wildly popular "High School Musical" movies.
The music- and dance-filled movie will debut on the Disney Channel in 2010, but ET has learned that "HSM 4" will introduce a new cast of characters.
The plot of the new movie, which starts production later this year, follows a love story and the cross-town rivalry between the East High Wildcats and the West High Knights.
