Scott, unfortunately I know how you feel. I lost my dad during the last Pixelmania to cancer after a 7 year battle. It's also not the first time cancer has taken one of our family. Every year I give to the American Cancer Society, and to the local hospice foundation. The people who help out from both organizations bring more comfort in a difficult time than I thought possible. Thanks for doing the relay and spreading the word of it.

We give to the American Cancer Society and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society every year as well. ; My sister is one of the fortunate ones who beat her cancer. ; She was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia when she was 2 1/2 years old. ; That will be 17 years ago this July 4th. ;

According to her doctors, now that she has been in remission for so long, she has the same chance of getting ALL again or getting any other cancer as anyone else has of getting it for the first time.
