Driving my mom, 87, to Montreal tomorrow. I'll try and update along the way. My aunts place in Montreal has no internet so I'll try and do my best to do live updates.

I'll honk as I drive by exit 699 Highland3.

Realfam, I set my cruise at 120 kmh, weather permitting, usually the OPP are looking for the 140 kmh folks. I think are speed limits are too low but I'm glad most law enforcement types have sage discretion.

Officer with a hat no longer used, I think.

I caught years ago around Belleville with a radar detector, (headed to Montreal). ; Lost the detector, got ; a ticket, but it saved me a ton of money. ; never replaced it. ; Well, at least thats the story I'm sticking too!

After I undid a couple of button on my shirt and the officer increased the fine.

Only some in involved in law enforcement would use the word detachment.
Also I think you once posted about driving back from Orillia. I've been to the HQ many a time.

Don't know if there is a blitz on 401, I saw a lot of enforcement going on between Belleville and Cornwall.

Set my cruise at 120 kph no issues.

Gas in Napanee 84.9 per litre.

Gas at exit 813 81.9

Gas in Montreal 96.4

Off to dinner for smoked meat pizza. I'll try and post so pics of dinner later.

The only way for me to hop on someone's router is to place my laptop on the sill in my aunt's bedroom window.

I hope that smoked meat pizza is good! ; I haven't been to Montreal for years.

We have a dedicated traffic team operating on the 401 between Kingston and Prescott.... with other units around Cornwall and Napanee. ; They are very busy folks!!!
 
Rain was quite fierce at points. Turned off the cruise slowed down turned on my full headlight system.

I can't believe how some folks drive with so much water on the road and reduced visibility.

I'll post some pictures tomorrow. Needless to say I didn't take any pics while driving today.
