thanks everyone!

this is basically the same as yesterdays. this time I added two scratched metal textures and kept the scope sticking out of the polaroid transfer edge. the "join the crew" text is from a picture of the pirates league wall.

That's a really cool idea! Although I like the additions to the second, the lighter first version works better for me. Too much detail is lost in the darker second areas.

Cool indeed - I like both -the first has the better detail I think, but I like the idea of the completed telescope too.

I wonder if you made the 'join the crew' layer smaller so that it all fits in the upper left space...just thinking out loud!
