First Snow of the year

We had the first snowfall of the year yesterday and the idiot drivers have come out. One was driving in the middle of two lanes at 15KMH on a major road. >:( Other drivers were passing on both sides I thought I would see an accident for sure. Today it's freezing I hope this is not an indication of the winter coming, the ski hills are even opening next week. :o
 
It is +3 outside here, no snow may have to mow the lawn before Christmas! ; We lived in Alberta for almost 20 years, so glad to be out here in BC away from winter!
 
We had our first dusting of the year on Thursday. The drag was that before it snowed there was a lot of freezing rain. Huge amounts of accidents collisions caused by boneheads going way too fast.

Ahh I hear you about the stupid drivers. ; We have had a few dustings of snow. ; No more than 1 or 2 cm at a time and that seems to cause mass confusions on the roads. ; Its like no one knows how to drive on white roads. ;

It is -25 here today with the windchill, I still really don't find it that cold out. ; I still am wearing my light Disney World jacket. ; I am hoping to avoid a winter coat until after we get back from our trip. ; But at least we aren't in YK. ; I was talking with my sister yesterday and it was like -42!!!! Brrrrr!!!!

If you're not in Yellow Knife you can't be that far away at -25. ;D
Yikes! I hope your sister works inside. Way too cold for me.

They're predicting more freezing rain and snow tonight in the GTA.
Get ready for a lot of collisions.

LOL!! You guys are funny. ; It is definitely winter here today. ; It took me a complete hour to get to work because of 2 or 3 cm of snow. ; Don't find it as cold as yesterday, but the snow has every driving very slow or very stupid.

My sister loves the cold believe it or not. ; She was even planning on going for a jog on Sunday, but decided it is too much effort to put on all the gear. ; I know her puppy is a bit confused as to why he has to wear booties and a jacket. ; But I guess he is starting to learn to walk with the booties on. ; Too cold for his poor little feet. ;

I'm going out on limb here. I bet your sister does not work outside as her occupation.

Choosing to go out side for a run or for winter sports is one thing.
All day outside when you are working is no fun when it is very cold out.

No freezing rain in Mississauga last night. No snow when we woke up this morning.
Supposedly snow is coming later this afternoon. Ya Right!
