We're heading down over March Break and are ; alway looking for new places to eat.

Here's some of our favorite places. Ale House, Bahaman Breeze & Chevy's.

I'd like to try some Thai or Chinese on our next trip down. One of my daughters really enjoys ribs.

Please feel to post any type of cuisine.

Any suggestions?

Two of my favorite places are Medival Times where you get to eat with your hands!! ; The wenches serve soup, rolls, chicken, potatoes and a dessert. ; It is very yummy!!!

I also like Outback Steakhouse. ; I love their Alice Springs Chicken.

I agree with Minnie, Medieval Times was a great show and a very good meal.

There is a Pizza place that i just LOVE. I can ever remember the name of the place, but Minnie should know it. I also suggested that Highland3 check it out on his visit down.

Oh try eating at the ESPN club on Disney's Boardwalk. Very good food. I will go back there again!

ESPN Club for sure!! That is one of our favourite places. If you want good b-b-que try Sonny's Bar-b-Que in Kississimme. Another off site favourite is the Olive Garden in Lake Buena Vista near the Goodings plaza. Awsome Italian food.

Off-site - what's that? ;D

Ok, I do like Angels, but I haven't been there in forever because they don't take my Key to the World Card.

LOL! Miss Megara, don't be an onsite snob ; :D

For family fare, we really like Chevy's at Crossroads. Didn't like the Perkins there, and didn't find the TGIFs very kid-friendly. The kids really enjoyed CiCi's pizza - really cheap buffet (price and quality but they love pizza!). They also enjoyed Steak N Shake which is a cheaper version of Beaches and Cream. ; No gourmet choices for us ; ;D

I've heard that Sweet Tomatoes is a very good. But it's a little farther out then we've managed before.

Actually - if you are going to call me names - at least call me by them properly; I am a DDS (Disney DELUXE Snob). ;D

Oooh...Steak and Shake, how could I forget that place!!

Miss M.

Could you provide a little more info on Angels? Location type if cuisine etc...

Also has any one tried Chipolite's ?

I'm a huge fan of burritos and have a heard a few people on that other board say it is good.

It's a '50s style diner (complete with malted shakes). ; They also have a lobster buffet portion to the restaurant, which is separate to the diner. ; I still have a t-shirt I bought there some 10 years ago with Marilyn, James and Elvis on it.

If memory serves, it's attached to the Holiday Inn right on 27. ; Here's a review I found on-line:

Angel's Lobster and Seafood Buffet

Located at the Holiday Inn Nikki Bird, Angel’s Seafood Buffet is one of my all-time favorite places to indulge. It is obvious that the other people in the area feel the same, because the line of people waiting to get into Angel’s was very long. There is an early-bird special of $20 from 4 to 6pm, then it’s $27 after 6pm. If you look in the travel-discount books, you can find coupons for $3 off the regular price.

There is nothing worse than a buffet that has cold, soggy food that has sat around for hours - this was nothing like that! The turn-around was so great that everything was hot and fresh.

And what was on the buffet you may ask - all of the good stuff! There was whole lobster, crab legs, prime rib, scallops, shrimp prepared in several ways, a variety of potatoes, salads, sushi, soups, and even hot dogs for the kids. Don’t forget dessert, which included pies (the pecan one was great), cookies, and ice cream.

You can only have one lobster per trip to the food bar, but careful placement of the food on your plate can really provide enough of the favorites from one trip, though you can wait in the line for as many trips as you please. The food is great, so getting your money's worth is effortless!

If you happen to get Gary for a waiter, you will be doubly blessed. He will go out of his way to be helpful.

The decor of the Angel’s Seafood buffet is “doo-wop,” with mirrors and neon statues of the Blues Brothers, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, and other stars. It is not a fancy place, but there is nowhere I have found where so many fantastic foods can be found to be so delicious at such a reasonable price.
