Contemporary Resort front elevation

    Look to the left is one of the cranes from the new construction. I have debated about cloning it out, but I think I have decided that it is an interesting way to date the photo.

    This hotel anywhere else in the world would have been torn down already.

    I like it, but I know it is because it is such a WDW icon. This is a great shot and a view you don't see very often!

    I like it simply because it figures strongly in my early Disney memories. I remember passing through the Contemporary. I always used to go to the arcade in the basement, that's one of those memories where I remember it being quite a bit larger than it looks to me now.

    It was big. It was modern. It seemed futuristic because the Monorail passed through it. It made a big impression on me back then.
