This past August Dina and I were able to go to the Top of the World Lounge a few times. Here are some pictures from inside the lounge itself.

You mean there is a lounge there????? ; I thought it was just a place to view fireworks! ; ; ;D ;D ;D


Very modern. ; Is there a clue about the future WDW monorails there? ; (are they getting the retro style from DL?)
 
In one part of the lounge there is a small room with curtains:

I also took closeups of the artwork in the room. It is a neat Tomorrowland Room!

I dont know! they told us John Hench designed the mural? So, I am assuming it is an older pattern?
 
Great shots Craig! ; I am really liking the last two of the sunset and the night shot from inside the lounge out over the MK. ; Thanks for posting!
 
yeah, the more I look at the murals I see both DL and WDW's tomorrowland in them...

But it wouldn't surprise me if you see the new "retro" monorails at WDW by the end of 2010, just in time for 2011.

Except that this time they'll have AC.

And be able to make turns.
 
Don't know how I missed this before, but stunning shots. ; Making us salivate even more as we sit here and 'mentally prepare' for our honeymoon.
