Oh my...Walt must have rolled over in his grave and spit out his coffee when he saw there was no Carousel of Progress thread yet in this forum! Shame shame.

Occasionally I do deep research on the subject matter of a photo. For this one, I found some information on the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis. You can read about the entertainment at the fair and watch a movie showing a Hootchy Kootchy dancer. Or you can look at a collection of historic photos of the fair.
