vine on wood

trying to figure out why I like this pic. does anyone else ?
used topaz to bring out wood grain and sharpened for print

My first thought was, "where's my Round-up?" I like it too, but I tend to like photos where plants live where you would not think possible, on rock ledges, in concrete cracks, and such. It's amazing where you can find life take root.

I like it also, but I think for a different reason. ; It's just there and breaks up the monotony of an otherwise "boring" fence.
