The Wonderful, Amazing, Colorful Birds of Florida's Wetlands

Cardinals are still beautiful birds. ; I have nesting pairs in my backyard - and always sneak a few shots of them even though I have dozens already. ; And don't forget the 'grass is greener' rule - birds that may seem 'blah' and common for one person can be stunning and rare to another. ; For example, I saw and photographed the American Robin for the very first time this year, last month. ; Dozens of local bird photographers were having a conniption and vying to get shots...because we never see robins down here!!

Our yard is covered with Robins ; from October to March here in Georgia- as far as cardinals- my gosh- we have an invasion of them :) also a couple pairs of Red Headed Woodpeckers- and a Pileated pair... they are hard to catch though.
