Here we have the Hotel Del Coronado, 1500 Orange Ave, Coronado, CA 92118 - just outside of Downtown San Diego and over the famous Coronado Bay Bridge.

i thought that was one of the coolest sights i saw when i was last in san diego, and i arrived just as a staff member was giving a talk on falconry, complete with a live hawk present, out on the beach side. right there by that low poolside building

san diego as a whole is a phenomenal road trip, and a great bus and trolley system to get around on, absolutely no need to rent a car. and the next time i go, it's a train ride up the coast to los angeles and back for a day trip, because it can be done
