I agree. ; Audi just weren't themselves this year. ; You can bet they'll work out the bugs and be prepared next year. It's too bad more teams don't compete over here. ; I used to go over to Mid-Ohio for ALMS, but any more there are only a few prototypes, so it's not really worth a four-hour drive and an overnight motel stay.
I'd agree with that. ; Sebring is a 2 hour drive for us, so it's not too bad - and most of the Audi guys that I go up with just pitch tents or camp in the backs of our wagons in the Audi paddock area so it's a cheap race to attend (well other than the entry tix, around $90). ; Sebring fortunately still brings in a lot of the big guns in all the classes, since it's a warm-up event for Le Mans. ; There's nothing like that sound and smell though - always fun...coming home with a raging headache, horrible sunburn, and both me and my car covered in a layer of black greasy soot and oil! ;
